We Love Cosplay!

TGX is excited to celebrate all levels of cosplaying through a variety of competitions and parades throughout the event. It doesn’t matter if you bought your cosplay online, or spent months making it by hand – there’s a place for you to strut your stuff on stage and have a chance to take home part of a $5000 cash prize pool, as well as other epic prizes.

Even if competing isn’t for you, our creative zone will still be packed with things to do, with photo walls, panels and more.

Cosplay Competitions and Info

Cosplay is an amazing way to celebrate and enjoy video games outside the digital realm.

TGX is excited to celebrate all levels of cosplayers through three different cosplay competitions, with a combined cash prize pool of $5000.

TGX Cosplay Cup

• Advanced level competition for hand-crafted cosplayers
• Pre-event applications and Portfolio required
• Gaming theme
• On stage short performance
• Curated by our amazing Judges (see below)

Cosplay Parade

• Open to all levels of cosplayers, inclusive of hand made and bought items
• Sign up on the day

Kids Cosplay Parade

• Open to all kids aged 12 and under
• Hand made and bought cosplays welcome
• Sign up on the day

Cosplay Repair

• Need a fix? Captain Patch-It and his Patchiteers will be on hand for any cosplay emergencies!
